If the red side of the coupler does not blink, you need to trace the red side back to the component before. Continue testing. Remove fiber optic connectors one at a time, check for the blinking red light when turning the stereo on.Pop clips 1 and 2 as shown in the first picture below.
Next, you will remove a exposed 10mm screw that is near the 2 clip in the 2nd picture below. Repeat this step for both sides of the vehicle and remove both wheel wells. You will need to remove the metal clasp that holds the bumper to the fender. This clasp has two pins, you will need to remove both pins to free the clasp. Please see the picture below. You will need to remove the bumper from the vehicle. To do this, you will need to remove two 8mm screws as shown in the first picture below.
Then, you will need to remove one 8mm screw on each side of the grille. These are hidden between the headlights and the grille itself.
Please see the pictures below to see the location of these screws. The final step required to remove the front bumper is to locate the 6 clips underneath the bumper that hold the bumper to the vehicle. Once these clips are removed, you can carefully slide out the bumper, one edge at-a-time, using gentle motions. Remove the headlight by removing two 8mm screws securing the headlight located on top of the vehicle.
Next, remove the final 8mm screw on the side of the car. Step 2: You will need to remove the metal clasp that holds the bumper to the fender.
